What we built

A new factory for OA&J Pharmaceuticals at Kpone: a long, single-storey production building with a twin-gable sheeted roof carried on steel lattice trusses, rooflights and turbine vents along the ridges, and blockwork walls between reinforced concrete columns. The two frames catch it at two stages — inside, with the roof on, the walls being plastered from scaffold and the cladding sheets stacked ready on the floor; and from the air, with the roof complete, the openings on the long side formed, and the ground alongside still being cut for the external works.
